Rockies hold Padres to five hits; Koshansky's homer just enough

DENVER -- Joe Koshansky made the most of some rare playing time Wednesday. Koshansky homered and five Colorado Rockies pitchers combined for a five-hitter in a 1-0 win over the San Diego Padres. Koshansky, who clubbed 31 homers in Triple-A this season, has backed up Garrett Atkins at first base since being called up on Sept. 2.
