The trade of wide receiver Keary Colbert by the Denver Broncos to the Seattle Seahawks is just another confirmation of how tough it has been to improve the receiver position through free agency. Colbert received a three-year, $7.105 million contract from the Broncos, but he didn't get many chances at playing time. In annual salary, he was the seventh-highest-paid receiver acquisition behind Javon Walker, Bernard Berrian, Jerry Porter, Donte' Stallworth, Ernest Wilford and Isaac Bruce. From tha ...
