PHILADELPHIA -- Pat Burrell carried the Philadelphia Phillies through the early part of the season. Now he's trying to lift them into the playoffs for the second straight year. Burrell snapped out of a recent slump with two hits, including the go-ahead single in the eighth inning, and the Phillies tightened a pair of NL races by beating Milwaukee 7-3 Sunday in the opener of a day-night doubleheader.
