Moya beats Gasquet, will play defending champ Simon in final

BUCHAREST, Romania -- Carlos Moya defeated top-seeded Richard Gasquet of France 6-2, 6-4 Saturday to reach the final of the BCR Open Romania. He will play defending champion Gilles Simon after the second-seeded Frenchman beat eighth-seeded Jose Acasuso of Argentina 4-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4. The sixth-seeded Moya, who reached the final in 1996, was more aggressive and appeared fresher than Gasquet, despite winning a grueling three-set quarterfinal on Friday.
