Phillips hurts finger then puts hurt on Brewers in 11th

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Brandon Phillips prevented Milwaukee from gaining ground in the playoff race -- on his final swing of the season. Phillips hit a go-ahead single with two outs in the 11th inning, moments after breaking his finger on a bunt attempt, and the Cincinnati Reds beat the slumping Brewers 5-4 on Tuesday night.
