BUCHAREST, Romania -- Top-seeded Richard Gasquet defeated Oscar Hernandez of Spain 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 on Tuesday in the first round at the BCR Open Romania. The 12th-ranked Frenchman, who entered as a wild card, dominated Hernandez with his serve after losing the first set.
