Tuesday, September 9, 2008 When making waiver-wire pickups, most of us Fantasy GMs look at things from a macro perspective, as in, "Geez, the Rams defense stinks, so I'm going to pick up any QB playing them next week." Sounds great in theory, but the weakness with the macro approach is that it can overlook great receiver matchups. After all, a receiver doesn't face an entire defense, 1-on-11.
