MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota extended women's basketball coach Pam Borton's contract through the 2013-14 season. The extension dissolves the final three years of Borton's current seven-year contract, signed in 2004. In six seasons, Borton has guided the Gophers to five NCAA tournament appearances. They have a record of 132-61 and a cumulative grade-point average above 3.0 since she was hired in 2002. "Minnesota is where I want to be for a long time," Borton said.
