Minnesota extends coach Borton's contract through 13-14

MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota extended women's basketball coach Pam Borton's contract through the 2013-14 season. The extension dissolves the final three years of Borton's current seven-year contract, signed in 2004. In six seasons, Borton has guided the Gophers to five NCAA tournament appearances.
