Monday, August 25, 2008 The 2008 NFL season kicks off September 4th - on the same night as John McCain's acceptance speech at the GOP Convention - with the Super Bowl champion New York Giants against the Washington Redskins. The main storylines until Sunday had been: how do the Giants come out of the gate and how will Jim Zorn fare as a head coach? Now, the storylines seem to be: (a) can Eli avoid Jason Taylor all night and if he can't, what does that mean for the next 16 weeks? and (b) is it all on Justin Tuck at ...
