Pat Hill needed a hook, a selling point, a motto. When he came to Fresno State in 1997, the talent was depleted. The team hadn't been to a bowl game in three years, and recruiting was starting to go stagnant. Kids didn't want to play for a non-BCS school in California when the Pac-10 controlled the state.
