Bill Belichick's interest in former Broncos safety John Lynch is real, as long as Lynch can pass a physical. The need for a hard-hitting situational safety was created last weekend when safety Tank Williams was lost for the season with a knee injury. Lynch can fit into packages that would allow him to play 10, 15 or 20 plays a game. Belichick is the best at figuring out ways to use veterans and not wear them out.
