It happened in March 2006, a few months after Shaun Alexander completed his dream 2005 campaign of 28 touchdowns, and nearly 1,900 rushing yards. It was when monster offensive guard Steve Hutchinson got a seven-year deal for $49 million to skip town for Minnesota, and the Seahawks let him go. Then everything changed.
