Pennington to the rescue in Miami

The signing of Chad Pennington by the Miami Dolphins shows they were not sold on any of their quarterbacks. Head coach Tony Sparano and offensive coordinator Dan Henning must have seen enough of seven-year veteran Josh McCown, second-year signal-caller John Beck and rookie Chad Henne to realize that acquiring a seasoned veteran like Pennington would give the rebuilding Dolphins their best chance to move forward in 2008.
