His injury may require surgery, and there's a good chance he'll miss the rest of the season. Eddie Guardado has been named the interim closer, but set-up man Frank Francisco has been solid this year and former co-closer Joaquin Benoit has just returned from a month-long absence due to a shoulder injury.
