INDIANAPOLIS -- The little girl didn't speak English, and Ron Hunter speaks barely any Spanish. Small enough for Hunter to hoist onto his hip, the girl lived in a Peruvian home for sexually abused girls. Surprisingly warm and affectionate around men, she calmly let Hunter wash her feet and fit her for a new pair of sneakers.
