Tuesday, August 5, 2008 Let's get this out of the way first: There is no way the Green Bay Packers can stage an open quarterback competition, because the only way Brett Favre will not be the Packers' starter on opening day if he is not on Green Bay's roster. Favre is simply a better quarterback than Aaron Rodgers. Favre has talent and experience on his side, and everyone in the locker room knows that he gives the Packers the best chance to win games and make a run at the Super Bowl.
