It's been a long time since I've gotten a ticket for skateboarding. Years, really. But while skating at the "Monument" at the bottom of the Williamsburg Bridge yesterday, I was issued a ticket for riding my skateboard. With all the media love and mainstream acceptance of skateboarding, I was beginning to forget that the very thing will call our own was illegal.
