SaberCats WR Roe ruled out with knee injury, report says

San Jose SaberCats receiver James Roe will miss the ArenaBowl against the Philadelphia Soul next Sunday with a strained medial collateral ligament in his left knee, the San Jose Mercury News has reported. The 34-year-old Roe, the franchise leader in catches, receiving yards and touchdown catches, injured his knee July 5 in a 64-51 playoff victory over the Colorado Crush in which he caught three touchdown passes.
