BAD GASTEIN, Austria -- Patricia Mayr reached the quarterfinals of the Gastein Ladies by defeating Rossana De Los Rios 6-3, 6-3 Thursday in the second round. The 206th-ranked Austrian, who entered the event on a wild card, will be playing in the quarterfinals of a WTA Tour event for the first time. Rain suspended play shortly after Mayr's win.
