Solid two-way forward Paille gets new deal from Sabres

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Sabres and restricted free agent Daniel Paille agreed to a multiyear contract on Wednesday. Terms of the deal were not available. Paille, Buffalo's first-round pick (20th overall) in 2002, emerged as a solid two-way forward in 2007-08, his first full season with the Sabres. He set career highs in goals (19) and points (35) while playing in 77 games.
