Special to Page 2 Tuesday, July 15, 2008 On July 5, 2005, in a game between his New York Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles, Randy Johnson -- flamethrower extraordinaire -- unexpectedly joined an admirably gutsy fraternity. In the third inning, Johnson faced Sal Fasano of the Orioles. His catcher, John Flaherty, could not decide where to set up for the pitch, and Johnson, in a fit of remarkable whimsy, threw Fasano what The New York Times called an "eephus."
