The closest to a lengthy, one-man title monopoly that the category ever witnessed was Joe Amato's three-year lock on the Top Fuel high ground in 1990, 1991 and 1992. With previous championships in 1984 and 1988, Amato spread his five career titles over a span of nine seasons, but sprinkled in between Amato's championships you'll find those of "Big Daddy" Don Garl ...
