Emery accepts one-year, $2M deal to play in Russia

Ray Emery, the former Ottawa Senator goalie, has agreed to a one-year deal with Atlant Mytishchi of the Russian Continental Hockey League, the Canadian Press reported. The deal is reportedly worth in excess of $2 million plus bonuses. "Unfortunately, it's only been a short time since the buyout and there isn't anybody willing to give [Emery] a second chance at this time," Emery's agent J.P. Barry told the Canadian Press.
