Tuesday, June 24, 2008 WIMBLEDON, England -- Fourth-seeded Nikolay Davydenko was ousted in the first round of Wimbledon for the fifth time. Davydenko lost 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to Germany's Benjamin Becker on Tuesday, extending his woeful run on grass at the All England Club. The 27-year-old Russian has advanced past the first round at Wimbledon only twice in seven trips, including a fourth-round exit last year. "He played good, but I played very bad," Davydenko said.
