Friday, June 20, 2008 In a cluttered, two-car garage attached to her lakeside Michigan home, 39-year-old Sheila Taormina lowers a patch over her left eye, stuffs her left thumb into her front jeans pocket and stretches her right arm straight ahead. She holds a blue Morini air pistol in her hand, rock steady, and calmly pulls the trigger. Taormina walks over to check her accuracy before reloading.
