Monday, June 16, 2008 GOSSAU, Switzerland -- Robbie McEwen won a sprint finish to take the rain-soaked third stage of the Tour de Suisse on Monday. The Australian rider edged Spain's Oscar Freire and Germany's Gerald Ciolek in the 96-mile ride from Flums to Gossau, Switzerland. They all finished with a time of 3 hours, 50 minutes, 5 seconds. The stage was dominated by a three-man breakaway of Frenchman Herve Duclos-Lassalle, Jeff Louder of the United States and Germany's Rene Weissinger, who stayed out in front fo ...
