It was never Jamie Moyer's goal to pitch when he was 45 years old. He wasn't thinking about pitching when he was 35 years old, for that matter. He had made a habit of spending each day thinking about what he needed to do that day to help himself, to improve, because he did not have the luxury of assuming he would be in the big leagues.
