Mark Cuban says he will pull out all stops to buy the Cubs. Mentioned here last month, it seems more than a coincidence that in recent months the oft-quoted and brash Cuban seems to have been quoted a lot less lately. If baseball owners ever considered allowing Cuban into their club, they would have to receive a whole lot of assurances that he would not be a chronic boat-rocker.
