ESPN.com Wednesday, June 4, 2008 PITTSBURGH -- When Nicklas Lidstrom took the Stanley Cup from NHL commissioner Gary Bettman late Wednesday night and presented it to his teammates, he became the first player born and trained in Europe to captain a Stanley Cup champion.
