• Detroit defenseman Brad Stuart, among the Game 3 goats for his unforced first-period turnover that led directly to the Pens' first goal of the series, came through with a strong effort at both ends of the ice in Game 4. On Jiri Hudler's goal, which put the Wings ahead 2-1 at the 2:26 mark of the third period, Stuart did a nice job of holding the blue line to support a hard-working shift by the Wings' fourth line.
