Blame it on the cool-guy culture in action sports. But doing physical therapy makes me feel like a tool. I'm fine with running, swimming, or playing soccer. I'll even find a high five free zone (usually somewhere away from the mirrors) at the gym to stay in shape during the off season. But most of skiing's most common injuries -- sprained ankles, bruised heels, bum knees, etc. -- reduce the range of allowable physical activities to cycling. Aerodynamic helmet, check.
