Quick hitters for Monday: • Here's a trend that is hard to argue: Two players who had initially signed with Kelvin Sampson but pulled out of their commitments to go elsewhere have succeeded. Scottie Reynolds (Villanova) and Damion James (Texas) are having solid careers after once signing with Oklahoma and then jettisoning themselves once Sampson bolted for Indiana.
