The Cardinals removed Jason Isringhausen from the closer's role after his fifth blown save last week, with the 35-year old stopper calling it a "mental break." Isringhausen turned in a pair of scoreless outings after the demotion, but was lit up by the Pirates Thursday night, and the team has now decided to disable him.
