Grambling St. names Drain new basketball coach

GRAMBLING, La. -- Donnita Drain was hired as Grambling State's women's basketball coach on Wednesday. Drain is the reigning two-time Women's Basketball Coaches Association Region III Coach of the Year. Drain's hiring is pending approval from the university's Board of Supervisors. "She brings an unbelievable work ethic, a tremendous amount of energy and impressive credentials to the position," Grambling State athletic director Troy Mathieu said.
