When the generally hard-to-love Sergio Garcia won the Players Championship with a playoff victory over the impossible-not-to-like Paul Goydos on Sunday, I'll admit, I was rooting for the Spaniard. It's not that I have any specific affinity for El Nino, nor did Goydos ever snub me at some sort of fantasy golf Christmas party.
