INDIANAPOLIS -- Indy 500 Pole Day like it used to be? Not quite. Not yet, anyway. Give it time. This long-awaited open-wheel merger is a work in progress. The folks in Gasoline Alley won't hold hands and sing "Kumbaya," but Saturday at the Brickyard is a moment for celebration.
