Blaze finally step into win column, hold off Brigade

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Joe Germaine completed 24 of 30 passes for 337 yards and eight touchdowns, and ran for another score to lead the Utah Blaze over the Kansas City Brigade 67-50 Saturday night. Huey Whittaker caught 11 passes for 117 yards and four TDs for Utah (1-9). Kansas City's D. Bryant was 30-of-37 for 266 yards and five TDs. Ce'Sare Manning led the Brigade (1-8) with 13 receptions for 128 yards and two TDs.
