ESPN.com Thursday, April 17, 2008 Sometimes the explanation for a pitcher's woes is too many pitches in the heart of the plate, no matter how nasty his stuff is. Is that what's going on with C.C. Sabathia? I wasn't on the C.C. bandwagon at the beginning of the year. The quick explanation was that he threw 241 innings last season (and another 15 1/3 in the playoffs), after not topping 200 in each of the four previous years.
