Zvonareva, Szavay, Radwanska, Srebotnik reach second round

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Vera Zvonareva, Agnes Szavay, Agnieszka Radwanska and Katarina Srebotnik all won their opening matches Monday at the Family Circle Cup. The ninth-seeded Zvonareva was the highest seed in action and beat Chuang Chia-jung 6-2, 6-2. Szavay, seeded 10th, defeated Yuliana Fedak 6-0, 7-6 (4), while the 12th-seeded Srebotnik got past Timea Bacsinszky 7-6 (4), 6-3. Eleventh-seeded Radwanska edged Marta Domachowska 6-4, 4-6, 6-3.
