Wimprine leads New Orleans past defending champion San Jose

NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Danny Wimprine threw five touchdown passes and also ran for a score in the New Orleans VooDoo's 72-43 victory over the defending ArenaBowl champion San Jose SaberCats on Saturday night. Wimprine was 19-of-29 for 222 yards, and James Jordan led the VooDoo (5-1) in receiving with nine catches for 67 yards and three touchdowns. Mark Grieb was 38-of-55 for 330 yards and six touchdowns for the SaberCats (3-3). Jason Geathers had 18 catches for 188 yards and two TDs.
