Friday, March 14, 2008 I had a conversation with a friend after we heard about the monumental, earth-shaking Kyle Lohse signing with St. Louis, and his reaction was that the move didn't matter, because the Cardinals won't score him any runs. This shocked me. I thought the move didn't matter because Lohse isn't very good. The thing is, you can probably do worse than making Lohse the last pitcher on your fantasy staff in an NL-only league, but I wouldn't bother in a mixed format, unless it's about 16 teams.
