ND's Harangody named Big East player of the year; Brey takes coach honor

NEW YORK -- Notre Dame sophomore forward Luke Harangody was selected Big East player of the year Tuesday, while Mike Brey of the Fighting Irish was chosen coach of the year for a second straight season. The 6-foot-8 Harangody led the conference in scoring with a 21.0 average and was second in rebounding at 10.3 per game.
