Before we get to the blog love, here are a couple pieces of inbox housekeeping: This week's story on bid yield generated a lot of (correct) discussion that we should have addressed relative seeding as part of the evaluation. I agree it should have been mentioned more prominently in the piece, although just using a Pete Tiernan-style PASE (Performance Against Seed Expectations) analysis wouldn't have been sufficient.
