ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) -- Kenny George scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as top-seeded UNC-Asheville advanced to the finals of the Big South tournament with a 75-57 victory Thursday over Liberty. Bryan Smithson had 19 points for the Bulldogs (23-8), who face second-seeded Winthrop in the championship game Saturday. K.J. Garland added 17 points. Alex McLean led the fourth-seeded Flames (16-16) with 18 points, and TeeJay Bannister had 13.
