Tuesday, March 4, 2008 LAS VEGAS -- Third-seeded Marcos Baghdatis overcame a slow start Tuesday night to win his Tennis Channel Open first-round match against Vincent Spadea. Despite dropping four of the first five games in the opening set, the 22-year-old Baghdatis, from Cyprus, rallied to take the set in a tiebreaker. He went on to win 7-6 (5), 6-1.
