Saturday, March 1, 2008 BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -- Robert Vaden scored 30 points to continue his hot shooting and lead UAB to a 69-44 victory over Tulane on Saturday. Vaden was coming off a 41 point effort at UTEP, which tied the school's single game scoring record. He now is averaging 31.8 points over his last three games. UAB (21-8, 11-3 Conference USA) jumped to a 41-18 halftime lead and cruised to its sixth victory in seven games. The win left UAB alone in second place in Conference USA, behind 14-0 Memphis.
