Saturday, March 1, 2008 JUPITER, Fla. (AP) -- Todd Wellemeyer and Brad Thompson combined to pitch five scoreless innings for the St. Louis Cardinals in a 3-2 loss to the Florida Marlins on Saturday. Wellemeyer, Thompson and Anthony Reyes are competing for the final two spots in the Cardinals' rotation. Reyes won his first start Thursday with three shutout innings against the Mets.
