Oilers hang on for sixth straight home win

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) -- The Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings put on a show that belied their poor places in the Western Conference standings. Ales Hemsky scored two goals and added an assist for the Edmonton Oilers, who earned their third straight win with a 5-4 victory over the Los Angeles Kings in a matchup Thursday night of the bottom two teams in the West.
