Thomas appears headed home to Texas, deal with Dallas

Seven-time Pro Bowl inside linebacker Zach Thomas has reached a contract agreement in principle with the Dallas Cowboys, team and league sources told ESPN.com on Saturday morning. ESPN.com's John Clayton reported that the deal is for one year at $3 million. Saturday night, Thomas' agent, Drew Rosenhaus confirmed the deal.
