MALIBU, Calif. (AP) -- Rico Tucker scored 19 points, Malcolm Thomas had 11 points and eight rebounds, and Pepperdine held off a late surge by Santa Clara to take a 64-58 victory Saturday night. The loss overshadowed a big night for Santa Clara's John Bryant, who hit all 11 of his shots from the floor and went 3-of-4 from the line to score 25 points. He also had 12 rebounds and five blocks.
